--"Tokyo" (2008), three interesting histories--

A peculiar film in which are three very singu lar anddifferent stories. All of them will be developed in Tokyo, each one will have on an approximated duration of 30 minutes and a different director.


"Interior Design".

Directed by Michel Gondry, author of “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”, “The Science of Sleep” or “Be Kind Rewind”.

In this history a dumb pair can be seen how Tokyo in search of a promising future. She is Hiriko and he Akira. The intention of Akira is to get to occupy a place in the world of the cinema, nevertheless Hiriko submerges in a sea of doubts, not knowing anything clearly. They will suffocate in the place, while she discovers something strange. He will begin to perceive how their ribs become wood and how his body is transformed into a furniture.

Surrealist film of Gondry, the script was made next to Gabrielle Bell.

"Tokyo Shaking".

Directed by Bong Joon-jo, author of the recent and magnificent “Host”. Here one will move away of which we could see in that film.

He shows us hikkikomori (adolescent or young adult, in its majority of masculine, that lives voluntarily shut in in his house or quarter during years).

This hikkikomori, interpreted by Teruyuki Kagawa, been has hidden more than ten years in his room. Everything will give to an upset when appearing a distributing girl of pizzas, which will be strained in his house. He will be threatened by similar intrusión, perhaps but the things can change before the unexpected arrival of the love.

"Merde".

Directed by the French Leos Carax, author of “Boy meets girl” or “Amants du Pont-Neuf, Les ”.
Somewhat rare work in that we will be able to see the performance of “a excrement man”, invading the streets of Tokyo and making provocative and irrational acts. He will cause disgust and passion in the press, to equal parts. But finally he will be arrested because their neighbors got themselves to really scare of him.

Three histories with Japanese actors the two first and French actors last, the original ones in its arguments. A good proposal directed by interesting directors.
